Ty Myers plays The Wharf Amphitheater on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The venue’s own website shows the show as Sunday, September 13. The website is wrong, and the same page it appears on is what proves it.

The event tile on the amphitheater page reads “Ty Myers in Concert, Sunday, September 13.” Below that display layer, the site stores the same event with a start time of 2026-09-12 at 7:00 PM Central. The event description the venue wrote says it plainly too. Ty Myers, with special guests Brent Cobb and Benny G, is coming to The Wharf Amphitheater on Saturday, September 12 as part of the 2026 C Spire Concert Series. The headline is wrong. The detail underneath it is right.

That could be a typo on one event. It is not. Every event on that page shows the same error:

Every tile is exactly one day late. That is a display bug, not five rescheduled concerts.

There is a third check that settles it. The Jason Aldean entry carries its own ticket link, and the address of that link ends in 08-29-2026. It agrees with the stored date and disagrees with the tile. So the stored dates are the real ones.

Our schedule data also lists this show as September 12, and September 12, 2026 is a Saturday.

What to do about it: go on Saturday. If you are booking a room or a flight, book around Saturday night. If someone in your group checked the venue site and is telling you Sunday, this is why.

Where you park decides which way you can turn onto Canal Road

This is the local knowledge that separates a ten minute drive home from an hour sitting still, and the venue publishes it in the one place people do not read.

The rule is on the parking map, and the wording is blunt: where you park determines what direction on Canal Road you will be exiting. No exceptions. You do not get to pick at the exit. The lot you chose hours earlier already picked for you.

So the choice is simple once you know it exists. Park on the side of the property that matches the direction you are sleeping in. Heading west toward Gulf Shores or West Beach, use the yellow or blue lots. Heading east, the red side is built for you.

The reason to take this seriously is that fans have measured the difference. In a r/GulfShores discussion about leaving after a show, someone who has been to several concerts here describes one night when the premier lot and the eastern overflow lots were all sent eastbound: it took him about an hour just to reach Canal Road. At a later show, the same lot was released west, and he was out the west entrance in roughly ten minutes. Another attendee that first night parked in the garage instead, left before the encore finished, went out the west side and was back on West Beach in about twenty minutes.

Same venue, same parking area, and the gap between ten minutes and an hour came down to which way they were released. Those are fan reports rather than a venue promise, but they line up with each other and with what the map says.

One more thing about the map itself. The venue links it as “click here to expand or download the parking map,” and it is an image with no text version. Every detail above, including the exit rule, exists nowhere else on the site. If you want to look at it before you drive down, it is linked from the venue’s parking and directions page.

Bring a cushion, and you may bring a real seat

The seating here is aluminum bleachers, according to a local who has been to several shows and recommends bringing something to sit on. That single detail explains the venue’s unusually generous seat rule.

Stadium seats up to 19 inches by 19 inches are allowed, provided they have no arm rests and no cup holders. That is a genuine seat with a back, not a folded towel. A venue that sits you on metal benches for three hours is a venue that expects you to bring one.

Bags follow a clear bag system with four accepted options:

• A clear tote, no larger than 12 by 12 by 8 inches, with a logo on one side only, and contents loose inside rather than in pouches.
• A clear plastic zip top bag, resealable, no larger than one gallon.
• A small handbag, meaning a clutch, wristlet or wallet about the size of your hand, no larger than 5 by 7 inches. A handle or strap is fine.
• A medical bag, for anyone with a documented need, subject to inspection. Contact the box office at 251.224.1020 ahead of time.

Worth pausing on how different this is from the night before. In Macon, chairs were banned for that show entirely. Two nights apart on the same tour, and the answer flips. Check each venue rather than packing once for the week.

What you cannot bring, including two surprises

The prohibited list holds two items that catch families and coastal visitors out.

Umbrellas are prohibited. Not large umbrellas, not umbrellas over a certain length. All of them. This is the exact reverse of Macon, which allowed a compact folding umbrella and banned only the big ones. Since the amphitheater is open air and the show is rain or shine, the workable answer is a poncho folded into one of the permitted clear bags.

Strollers are prohibited as well, which matters at a 7:00 PM show if you are bringing a small child.

The rest of the list: no weapons, no illegal drugs, no outside beverages, food or alcohol, no video or audio recorders, and no laser pointers. Large bags are all refused, specifically backpacks, camera cases, binocular cases, mesh bags, oversized totes, and patterned or tinted plastic bags.

Re-entry is prohibited once your ticket has been scanned. Whatever you need for the night comes in with you the first time.

The show starts one minute before sunset

The Ty Myers Orange Beach show is listed at 7:00 PM. Sunset in Orange Beach on September 12, 2026 is at 7:01 PM, with civil twilight ending at 7:23 PM.

So the opening set begins in the last minute of daylight and plays straight into dusk at an open air venue on the Gulf Coast. Bring sunglasses for the first few songs if you are facing the stage from the west side, and expect it to be fully dark well before the headline set.

The venue has two street addresses, and mixing them up puts you at the wrong building.

• The amphitheater address is 23101 Canal Road, Orange Beach, AL 36561. This is what the venue publishes as its address and what you should use for directions.
• The box office address is 23325 Wharf Lane, Orange Beach, AL 36561. A different street.

If you need will call or have a ticket problem, Wharf Lane is your destination. The map puts the box office beside Gate 1, on the southeast side of the amphitheater.

There are three entrances: Gate 1 to the southeast, Gate 3 to the southwest, and Gate 4 to the northwest.

Box office hours are Monday through Thursday 10 AM to 4 PM, Friday 10 AM to 2 PM, and 10 AM to 10 PM on concert days. It accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

For accessible parking, the venue keeps a reserved lot just east of the main entrance. The map also marks accessible spaces near Gate 1, the same side as the box office.

Every visitor needs a ticket regardless of age, and only official tickets are accepted. Photocopies are refused.

Cashless inside, plastic cups outside

The amphitheater is a cashless venue. All major credit cards are accepted, and the box office lists American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover with no cash option. Bring a card or a phone wallet.

Outside the gates, The Wharf does something most concert properties do not. It is an official Entertainment District. That means you may walk the complex with a drink from one of its bars or restaurants, as long as it is in a plastic cup.

That applies to what you buy on the property. It does not let you bring your own. Outside food, drink and alcohol are all prohibited inside the amphitheater.

How big is The Wharf Amphitheater, and who else plays it

The venue describes itself as a 10,000 seat open air venue, and calls itself one of the largest music venues along the Gulf Coast. That figure comes from the venue itself rather than a third party listing, which is the best source available for a number like this.

The show sits inside the 2026 C Spire Concert Series, the venue’s own branded season. That season gives a sense of the size of room he is playing. It also includes Goo Goo Dolls, Jack Johnson, Jason Aldean and Weird Al Yankovic. Earlier in the year the same stage held Luke Bryan, Creed, Dave Matthews Band, Jelly Roll, Willie Nelson and Bailey Zimmerman.

We are not going to guess at how full it will be. The venue does not publish attendance for individual shows, and the schedule data lists this date as not sold out at the time of writing.
