Every Ty Myers Song: The Complete Discography

The short version

Ty Myers has released two studio albums. The Select came out January 24, 2025 and is certified Gold. Heavy on the Soul came out March 27, 2026. Between them there are 33 tracks, and he holds a writing credit on all but two.

One song accounts for most of his chart history. “Ends of the Earth” reached 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, 20 on Hot Country Songs and 11 on Country Airplay, and it is certified Platinum. Three other songs are certified without charting that high.

A correction to the record

The Wikipedia article for Heavy on the Soul contains an error, and this page previously got the same question wrong in the opposite direction. Both are worth stating plainly, because that article feeds a lot of downstream summaries.

Its background section describes a “2024 debut EP Ends of the Earth” that produced hits including “Drinkin’ Alone.” Calling it a debut release is the part that is wrong. He released four songs independently in early 2023, more than a year earlier. That same sentence also leaves the phrase “the title track” unresolved, and it reads like an edit that was never finished.

But the EP itself is real, and this page said otherwise until August 26, 2026. The earlier version of this section concluded the 2024 EP framing was an error, because no such release appears in the discography tables on Wikipedia’s own main Ty Myers article. That was an honest reading of an incomplete set of sources. Four other sources place a six-track Ends of the Earth EP in October 2024: AllMusic lists it as a distinct release with its own catalog number, Wikipedia’s own article on The Select names it in that album’s release chronology, Saving Country Music reviewed it at the time, and Apple Music’s biography describes it. The full evidence, and what the EP appears to contain, is laid out on the Ends of the Earth page.

So the accurate statement is narrower than either version. “Ends of the Earth” is the title track of an October 2024 compilation EP, and separately the lead single from The Select, where it is track 1. It is not his debut release.

The same Heavy on the Soul article also lists track 3 as “Pedestas.” The label’s tracklist, published by MusicRow, gives “Pedestal.”

None of these points matters much on its own. They matter for the same reason: if a reference page repeats them, they spread. That applies to this page too, which is why the correction is recorded here rather than quietly edited away.

Heavy on the Soul (2026)

Released March 27, 2026 on RECORDS Nashville and Columbia. Produced entirely by Brandon Hood. Recorded at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Total running time 58 minutes 40 seconds.

Announced January 13, 2026, with six tracks out ahead of the album. Those were “Leaving Carolina,” “Through a Screen,” “Come On Over, Baby,” “Two Trains,” “Message to You” and “Morning Comes.”

Two spellings differ between sources. MusicRow, publishing the label’s tracklist, gives Braydon Watts and Harper O’Neill. Wikipedia gives Brandon Watts and Harper O’Neil. This page uses the label-sourced spelling, and it flags that the other exists rather than pretending the question is closed.

Charts. The album reached 15 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart and 35 on Top Country Albums, both for the week of April 11, 2026. That split placement is not a rounding artifact. It is the clearest evidence that his genre label is genuinely contested, since Billboard itself filed the same record in two different formats.

Session players. The credits list a large band, which is unusual for a country record by a nineteen year old. Guitarist Tom Bukovac, steel guitarist Bruce Bouton and drummer Chris McHugh appear across almost every track, as do keyboardist Gordon Mote and bassist Mark Hill. There is a full horn section with trumpet, trombone and three saxophones. A string section plays on two tracks, and gospel background vocalists sing on the record. Producer Brandon Hood also plays sitar on two tracks.

The Select (2025)

Released January 24, 2025 digitally, with signed CD and vinyl editions following on March 28, 2025. Certified Gold by the RIAA, it reached 66 on the Billboard 200 and 12 on Top Country Albums.

Produced by Brandon Hood on tracks 1 through 13 and Tommy Detamore on tracks 14 through 16.

Track 10 is a John Mayer cover. That is worth noting, because Myers has named Mayer as his biggest guitar hero, and he bought his touring amplifier for the same reason. Track 6 is the only song here with no Myers writing credit at all.

A deluxe edition followed later in 2025. It added two new songs, plus acoustic versions of three existing ones. Those include “Firefly” and “Worry Is a Sickness.”

The producer who is no longer here

Tommy Detamore died on August 5, 2026, seventeen days before this page was written. He produced the last three tracks on The Select, including “Tie That Binds,” the song that started everything. He cut them at his own Cherry Ridge Studio in Floresville, Texas.

He was a Steel Guitar Hall of Fame member who played behind Moe Bandy for seven years. He also recorded with Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Robert Earl Keen and Sunny Sweeney. His obituary in Saving Country Music notes that he played steel guitar on the Myers songs he produced.

One detail is worth getting right. That obituary is dated August 6, but it states he died “Wednesday, August 5th according to his wife.” Where a publication date and a family account disagree, the family account wins, so this page uses August 5.

Chart and certification summary

Confirmed positions only. “no” means the release did not chart there, which is different from missing data. “n/a” means the chart does not apply to albums.

“Message to You” is a case worth spelling out. It did not enter the Hot 100, but it peaked at 2 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which tracks songs just below the main one. Sites that list it as a Hot 100 entry are wrong, and sites that leave it out entirely are missing a near miss.

Certification figures reflect an RIAA database check dated June 5, 2026. Chart peaks are as of the Billboard issues cited in the sources.

A note on streaming numbers

You will see stream counts quoted for these songs everywhere, and most are stale. That is easy to miss, because nobody dates them.

His Country to Country festival page cites 636 million total streams, and the same page calls him “the 17-year-old.” He is 19. The label’s own January 2025 announcement cites 230 million. Both figures were accurate when published. Neither is usable now without the date attached.

That is why this page publishes charts and certifications instead. A Platinum certification does not go out of date. A stream count is stale within a week, and a reference page that quotes one as current is quietly wrong most of the time.
